Hindi ·
English
Those who think of me alone and worship me with unwavering focus—I carry their welfare and security.
What this verse means
People who focus on Krishna alone and worship him steadily do not have to carry every burden by themselves. He takes responsibility for their well-being and security.
Context & commentary
On the battlefield, Arjuna is frozen between duty and grief. After exposing the limits of ritual and mixed motives, Krishna gives a promise to the devoted: those who turn to him without divided attention are personally sustained by him.
Why this verse still matters
You are staring at a hospital bill, a breakup text, and a job notice all at once. This verse answers the panic that says, 'I have to hold everything myself.'
The takeaway
Devotion can feel like being held instead of having to hold everything alone.
