English
Arjuna said: O divine one, I see all the gods in your body, and all kinds of distinct beings, Brahma seated on the lotus, Shiva, all the sages, and all the radiant serpents.
What this verse means
Arjuna sees the entire divine order inside Krishna's cosmic body: gods, beings of every kind, Brahma, Shiva, sages, and radiant serpents.
Context & commentary
On Kurukshetra, Arjuna has already seen Krishna's cosmic form and is overwhelmed. He now describes what that vision contains: every class of being, from gods to sages to Brahma and Shiva, all within Krishna's body. The next verse expands the awe even further.
Why this verse still matters
You stare at a decision that seems private, then suddenly see how many lives, histories, and forces are braided into it. The choice is bigger than your fear.
The takeaway
A single vision can collapse the boundary between the many and the one.
