Context & commentary
On the Kurukshetra battlefield, Krishna keeps answering Arjuna's deepest confusion. After explaining creation and his detachment from it, he now says that nature itself brings forth the whole moving and unmoving world under his supervision, and that this is why everything keeps changing.
Why this verse still matters
A plan collapses, a relationship changes, or a job disappears overnight, and it feels like chaos. This verse says the turning of events is not outside the larger order you cannot yet see.
